1. You must first download the Microsoft Authenticator application.
To install the Authenticator app on an Android device, scan the QR code below or open the download page from your mobile device.

2. Open Microsoft Authenticator:
- Once the installation is complete, open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
4. Add Account:
- Tap on the "+" icon to add a new account.
5. Choose Work or School Account:
- Select "Work or school account" as the account type.
6. Scan QR Code or Enter Code Manually:
- You'll be prompted to either scan a QR code or enter a code manually. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.
7. You will continue with the office 365 sign in process until you reach the screen below.
The QR code will connect your office 36 account to the Microsoft authenticator. Scan the QR code from your authenticator application.
8. Confirmation:
- After scanning the QR Code Authenticator will prompt you to test the the app.
9. Completion:
- After completing the test you can verify that Microsoft Authenticator is enabled by looking in your security settings
